Student Council Officer meeting dates (and GETV appearances) for 2011-12:
Meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month, unless noted
November:
November 8 - All officers and representatives
November 9th- Friendly reminder Recycling Rams
November 11- Grace and Savanna on GETV for Veterans Day
November 11- Officers meet in media center for announcements at 8:30 (Gace and Savanna)
November 14 (Monday) - Phillip and Bradley jelly bean estimation contest for classes (each class can come by media center and estimate this week) Manna and Annabel make jelly bean box for media center –put in on the 14th
December:
December 13 - Meeting- all representatives and officers
Toy drive, all representatives please make a toy drive poster and drop off to Mrs. Foster for the annual Toys for tots by Dec. 7
January:
January 10 - Meeting: All
January 11- GETV President only- Martin Luther King birthday declaration (paragraph to read will be provided or student can create to inform school of reason for celebrating MLK day)
Feb. 7, 8, 9 Officers only meet at 8:30 in media are for GETV poetry reading
February:
February 14 - Meeting: All; Black History month, all members will create a poster for display of famous black American February 15 - Officers meeting hallway in morning to sell spirit bands. Fundraiser
March:
March 13 - Meeting
April:
April 10 - All (Plan field day and officers receive speeches for field day ceremony)
May:
May 1 - (First Thursday of the month); ALL members: Field day practice and ceremony guide
