| Gwinnett Online Campus: Informational Meeting for Parents on Jan. 5 at Grayson High School | ||
Gwinnett Online Campus is a charter school within the GCPS system. Families who are interested in learning more about the full-time online school for grades 6-12 are encouraged to attend an informational meeting at Grayson High School Theater on Thurs., Jan. 5, 2012. The middle school meeting will be held from 6:30-7:15 pm and the high school meeting will follow from 7:30–8:15 pm. These sessions are designed to provide the information parents need to make an informed decision about enrolling a student full-time at Gwinnett Online Campus. If you are unable to attend on this date, additional meeting locations and times are listed on the Gwinnett Online Campus website at http://www.gwinnettonlinecampus.com/goc/ The registration window for all full-time students in grades 6-12 is open from Feb.1-29, 2012. |

| Mini Fundraisers: Participate When You Grocery Shop! | ||
1. Ingles customers can have a portion of EVERY single purchase donated to Grayson Elementary! Simply visit www.ingles-markets.com and click on "Tools for Schools" at the top of the page. Choose "Grayson Elementary" as the school you want to support, and that's it! This must be done once a year, so if you participated last year, you need to do this AGAIN for this year. Thanks so much!!
2. While you're on the Ingles website, you can also sign up for Bonus Box Tops to be credited to your Ingles card! Click on "Bonus Box Tops" in the middle of the webpage. Thank you!

6. Our Terracycle recycling program has been very successful. Did you know that last year from Feb-May, we recycled over 5,000 Capri Sun drink pouches? We have quite a large list of items that we can recycle for cash, so please send what you can to earn CASH from your TRASH! The following can be recycled for CASH:

| Switching to recycled paper is definitely a big win for the environment. The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) reports that 40 cases of 30% recycled copy paper (400 reams) will save more than seven trees, 2,100 gallons of water, 1,230 kilowatt-hours of electricity and 18 pounds of air pollution. |
